Hello all, I know I have been very quiet since the last post and I will try to make an effort to communicate more on the devlog section here and on twitter but this doesnt mean i have just been sitting around doing nothing!

Freeroam

I have finished the first freeroam track for the new beginner levels of which I only have two levels left to do before creating a freeroam track for the original levels which were in the game already (these will be called the classic levels in game).

New levels

The new levels as they’re labeled beginner are to introduce you to different tricks and what you can expect in later levels, as i said above, i have seven out of the nine tracks complete and they do vary in difficulty but i arranged the tracks on the freeroam level in a way that makes the player approach the harder levels further down the freeroam level. I will be expecting to make slight changes to them depending on player feedback to make them approachable to new players

 Music & Sounds

The music and sfx is where i’ve been sinking in a lot of time lately as it's the part i am less experienced with but the game feels more alive with the music and sfx that i have made so far. I'm planning on making 14 music tracks of which I have 7 completed and taking a break from these to work on other parts of the game.

Other changes

The options menu got a face lift as i implemented the sounds i added effects and music volume sliders. The level select screen will be revamped to let you only choose the freeroam track you wish to go to rather than individual levels.
